“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars” ~ Khalil Gibran
Challenges are a normal part of life, and while we can often face them on our own, we sometimes need someone to help us navigate through life’s difficulties. Psychotherapy can assist with a variety of difficulties, ranging from emotional difficulties to relationship problems and adjustment to life transitions such as marriage or the birth of a new baby. Unresolved emotional issues can lead to further problems by impacting on our work, health and relationships.
People come to psychotherapy for many reasons – some are unable to cope with the stressors they face, while others may be struggling to make important life decisions. It is a misconception that therapy is only for people who have psychiatric illnesses. Sometimes in life we feel stuck or reach a crossroad and experience difficulty in deciding which way to proceed. In such cases it is helpful to speak to a professional who can assist you to reach your life goals and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
