  • Grief & loss
  • Depression & anxiety

Therapy for Adolescents

Adolescence is the phase of life where we develop our identities, and this is often a challenging period where one may experience peer pressure and feel misunderstood. Parents are invited to attend part of the first session with their teenager to discuss any concerns. Although sessions are confidential, appropriate feedback is provided in the presence of the adolescent.
Some of the main reasons that adolescents present to therapy are:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Career uncertainty
  • Confidence & motivation
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Peer pressure
  • Substance abuse/dependence
